In meantime, I was able to also find out similar looking issue could be
fixed in 7.2-rc1 mainline kernel, so if you are fine with it, please
check whether you are hitting the same issue running
https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/v7.2-rc4/ (pick the one for your PC
architecture).
