Reproducer: launch IntelliJ IDEA; whole-desktop multicolored artifacting
on both external displays within moments
Topology: HP EliteBook 840 G9 (Alder Lake-P i915) → HP Thunderbolt Dock
G2 → 2x 1080p monitors via DP-to-HDMI on the dock's DP ports (MST)
The i915 ... *ERROR* Failed to get ACT after 3000 ms line from -28's
