Public bug reported:
On Ubuntu 26.04 with gnome-keyring 50.0-1, gnome-keyring-daemon repeatedly
aborts during Secret Service session negotiation. The journal shows
gkd_secret_service_get_pkcs11_session: assertion 'client' failed,
aes_negotiate: assertion 'session' failed,
followed by
g_variant_new: expected GVariant of type 'v' but received value has type
'(null)'.
systemd restarts the daemon, after which the login collection is locked and the
user receives “The login keyring did not get unlocked when you logged into your
computer.” The issue reproduces after full package upgrades and under the
generic Ubuntu kernel. No OOM event occurred; 39 GiB RAM was available.
