Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 26.04 with linux 7.0.0-28-generic experienced an invalid-opcode
oops in local_clock_noinstr. The interrupted process was Python executing
an ext4/overlay directory traversal. After the oops, systemd-journald could
not be killed, Docker commands hung, virtual terminals stopped responding,
and a forced power-off was required.
After reboot, NVMe SMART reported no errors and its short self-test passed.
No MCE, EDAC, PostgreSQL, Docker, or application errors were recorded.
The failure has not yet reproduced.
