At least I know there is problem I experienced on Ubuntu 26.04 related to "white screen" on sddm login page after booting.
The issue I found is that the configuration file at /usr/share/sddm/themes/ubuntu-budgie-login/theme.conf points to a background budgie-codename.png according to following line in the theme.conf file: background=/usr/share/backgrounds/budgie/budgie-codename.png If you search, this file (/usr/share/backgrounds/budgie/budgie- codename.png) is missing in the system. There exists another SDDM background file elsewhere in the following path: /usr/share/sddm/themes/ubuntu-budgie-login/backgrounds/default.jpg Thanks for reading.
