Verified on the -oem-1010 with the following steps on a AMD platform:

1. Boot into the kernel
2. List all ip discovery files by grep -r ''
/sys/bus/pci/devices/<BDF>/ip_discovery
3. Rename one of the firmware file required by amdgpu on that platform.
4. Reboot the system.
5. The amdgpu probing fails due to missing firmware.
6. Run grep -r '' /sys/bus/pci/devices/<BDF>/ip_discovery again
7. Diff the output. Confirmed that they are identical.
