Thank you very much for your suggestion. Originally, there was no /etc/apparmor.d/nautilus file on my system.
After running the command you provided: sudo apt-get -o Dpkg::Options::="--force-confmiss" install --reinstall apparmor the missing /etc/apparmor.d/nautilus profile was restored. After rebooting the system, Nautilus thumbnails are generated normally again, and the issue appears to be completely resolved.
