I solved with this not user friendly way:
$ lsusb

Bus 003 Device 002: ID 046d:c016 Logitech, Inc. M-UV69a Optical Wheel Mouse
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
sudo gedit /etc/udev/rules.d/025_libsane-extras.rules
# 025_libsane-extras.rules
# CUSTOMIZE BELOW THE RIGHT IdProduct looking at lsusb !!!!!!
## Lexmark
# Lexmark|x1250
SYSFS{idVendor}=="043d", SYSFS{idProduct}=="007d", MODE="664", GROUP="scanner"
$ scanimage -L
Now you should see the device and you can use it with xsane
