After updating to kernel 7.0.0-28, screen brightness adjustment stopped
working completely on my laptop.
- Working kernel version: 6.17.0-40-generic
- Broken kernel version: 7.0.0-28-generic
Behavior:
Neither Fn hotkeys nor the GUI brightness slider in system settings change the
screen backlight level. Moving the slider has no effect.
Regression: Yes, issue appeared right after kernel update from 6.17.0-40
to 7.0.0-28.
