That's silly. 169.07 created the symlink on install. The xorg-core 8.1
update broke the symlink on ALL versions of the nvidia driver,  not just
169.07. I had 169.04 and others had the version in the repository.
Please don't try to blame this on nvidia when the problem was clearly
with the 8.1 update. 8.2 and 8.3 did not break the symlink of any
version of the nvidia driver.
