Public bug reported:
Kubuntu 24.04, 32GB system. A 940x1067 sized image, plenty of RAM, 3rd
transparent layer, create small rectangle, fill, and copy to clipboard
then segfaults. Restored and repeated the crash. Started from scratch
and repeated the crash 3rd time.
Steps:
* Copy image from spectacle screenshot
* Text tool, add text
* Create transparent layer T
* Merge down text to layer T
* Create transparent layer L, focus
* Rectangle select (thin, 5pix by 100 pix)
* Fill rectangle
* Cut
