After a fresh install of Ubuntu 26.04 (Resolute Raccoon), the D-Pad
(directional pad) mapping for the official Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless
Receiver is completely broken and randomized across all applications.

[Symptoms]
- The D-Pad inputs are not mapped to regular button/hat outputs properly.
- Pressing directions results in randomized, incorrect directional movements
(not a simple invert/axis issue, but completely jumbled mappings).
- The issue persists system-wide across all games and emulators (such as Eden
Emulator AppImage), ignoring local SDL2 gamecontrollerdb mappings or udev/hwdb
rule overrides.
[Steps to Reproduce]
1. Connect the Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter (045e:0719) to a clean Ubuntu 26.04
installation.
2. Turn on the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller.
3. Attempt to use the D-Pad in any native game or emulator.
4. The directional inputs will trigger completely incorrect commands/directions.
It appears the latest kernel's xpad/evdev implementation handles the
wireless dongle's packet format incorrectly on this specific LTS
release. Please look into a kernel-level fix for the xpad driver
regarding the 045e:0719 hardware.
