Hmmm that may be the case in `apt search` because -proposed` is not enabled by default, and the ones you have from -proposed are already marked [installed]. noble-updates only have 13.0.0, that's correct for now.
- what does `apt policy <pkgname>` show? - can you run `apt install <pkgname...> -t noble-proposed` and see if 13.0.10 installs properly? About the description, we don't change it in Ubuntu - it comes from the Debian packaging in the short line in d/control: https://tracker.debian.org/media/packages/o/open-vm-tools/control-213.0.10-1 Should it be changed there? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2153486 Title: Backport open-vm-tools 13.0.10 to noble To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/open-vm-tools/+bug/2153486/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
