Public bug reported:
DMCUB firmware version regresses from 0x09002C01 (0ubuntu2.26) to
0x09000D00 (0ubuntu2.29) on AMD Strix Point (gfx1150, DCN 3.5).
Result: amdgpu SDMA0 fence fallback timer expired → kernel Oops
(Tainted: [D]=DIE) during normal desktop use (web browsing).
Workaround: downgrade to 0ubuntu2.26 + apt-mark hold linux-firmware.
Hardware: AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 / Radeon 890M (gfx1150)
