Additional information: The same laptop and hardware works correctly under Fedora 44 with GNOME 50: the brightness keys physically change the display brightness.
Under Ubuntu 24.04 with kernel 7.0.0-28-generic, intel_backlight is exposed and its value changes correctly with brightnessctl (1023 -> 517 -> 1023), but the physical display brightness does not change.
