Yes, they were. The entire package is unconditionally rebuilt on each
upload. We never re-publish the same binary artifacts.

I am wondering if something went wrong unpacking the new version during
unattended-upgrades.

Can you both share the output of:

$ readelf --notes /lib/systemd/libsystemd-shared-249.so

and also share the contents of /var/log/unattended-upgrades/ ?
