Thanks for that additional information. > but the callers were not rebuilt against the split symbols
Yes, they were. The entire package is unconditionally rebuilt on each upload. We never re-publish the same binary artifacts. I am wondering if something went wrong unpacking the new version during unattended-upgrades. Can you both share the output of: $ readelf --notes /lib/systemd/libsystemd-shared-249.so and also share the contents of /var/log/unattended-upgrades/ ? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2163371 Title: journalctl and other systemd binaries fail with "undefined symbol: strv_push, version SD_SHARED" after upgrade to 249.11-0ubuntu3.22 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/2163371/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
