Thank you for your prompt reply, but your reply only helps me. How can we make this work for everyone who has this problem?
We have no way of knowing that bugs.launchpad.net wants a source package name if the box says only "Package" and refuses when we give it the package name shown by "dpkg -S". Why can't bugs.launchpad.net convert "x11-common" to "xorg" and "libatk- adaptor" to "at-spi2-atk", if that's what it wants? If it can't convert, it might at least suggest: Please use "apt info" on your package name and try the "Source:" package name instead. Why can't bugs.launchpad.net have a link beside "Package" that says "How to find the source package name required by bugs.launchpad.net"? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2164278 Title: bugs.launchpad.net says x11-common and libatk-adaptor are not packages; dpkg says they are To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/2164278/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
