Kwallet couldn’t use gpg, i get seems your system has no keys suitable
  for encryption.

since that didnt work. and i kept asking me to do it when pressing
cancel. i created one using blowfish instead. but there seems to be
issues with that also. it never promts me for password when opening or
closing. and when closing i get that i need to force closure or do not
  force.

  created using chatgpt:

KWallet Manager does not behave correctly even though the KWallet daemon
and the encrypted wallets themselves are functional.

I also tested the wallet directly through the KWallet D-Bus API, bypassing
  KWallet Manager.

The wallet opened successfully and returned a valid wallet handle.
I successfully created a test folder, wrote an encrypted test password,
and read the password back successfully.

The test value "hello123" was returned correctly.

This demonstrates that the wallet can be opened, written to, and read
from successfully through kwalletd6 despite the KWallet Manager GUI
  failure.

  Running:

      kwalletmanager5

  produces:

      Connecting to deprecated signal
  QDBusConnectionInterface::serviceOwnerChanged(QString,QString,QString)

  followed by:

QThreadStorage: entry 2 destroyed before end of thread
QThreadStorage: entry 1 destroyed before end of thread

and the manager exits without providing the expected password/unlock
  interface.

The executable is named kwalletmanager5, but it is actually linked
against KF6/Qt6 libraries. ldd shows libKF6*.so.6 and libQt6*.so.6.

  Installed versions:

      kwallet6: 6.24.0-0ubuntu1
      libkf6wallet6: 6.24.0-0ubuntu1
      libkf6wallet-data: 6.24.0-0ubuntu1
      kwalletmanager: 4:25.12.3-0ubuntu1
      xdg-desktop-portal: 1.21.1+ds-1ubuntu3
      xdg-desktop-portal-kde: 6.6.6-0ubuntu0.1

- All are at their current apt candidates from the official Ubuntu
- Resolute repositories.
-
- The KWallet daemon itself is functional. D-Bus reports:
+ KWallet daemon D-Bus reports:

      wallets → "Neverending", "Default"
      isEnabled → true

I also tested the wallet directly through the KWallet D-Bus API,
  bypassing KWallet Manager.

I opened the "Neverending" wallet and received a valid wallet handle. I
was able to create a folder successfully:

      KWallet.createFolder → true

I then wrote a test password into the wallet and read it back
successfully. The value written was "hello123" and the same value was
  returned when reading it.
-
- Therefore the wallet encryption, password, daemon, D-Bus interface, and
- encrypted read/write operations are all working.
-
- The problem appears to be specifically in KWallet Manager and/or its
- graphical prompt/integration.

The journal contains several errors associated with the
  prompt/integration:

GTask secret_service_real_prompt_async ... finalized without ever
returning
      Using kwallet without parent window!
      QWizard::field: No such field 'key'
QWindow::fromWinId(): platform plugin does not support foreign windows.

  I also see:

      g_dbus_proxy_get_object_path: assertion 'G_IS_DBUS_PROXY (proxy)'
  failed

Bitwarden, which uses KWallet through D-Bus, has also reported
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply errors when calling KWallet methods.

Additionally, when selecting GPG encryption in KWallet Manager, the
application reports that no suitable GPG keys exist / that there are no
keys available for securing the wallet. I have not established whether
this is related to the KWallet Manager GUI problem.

The important distinction is that direct D-Bus access to the wallet
works correctly, while the KWallet Manager GUI/prompt path does not.
