For Ceph, I haven't been able to upload a PPA due to issues with 'sbuild', but I did build the package locally and tried it out myself. The branch that I used is here [1]. The test I did involved deploying a small Ceph cluster and bringing up the Rados Gateway, which is the sub- component that uses lua. Everything went without issue.
