Public bug reported:
The vttest test 'Test of TAB setting/resetting' fails and is not
rendered correctly. The screen should have two identical horizontal
lines of space separated stars on the top, then some describing text
below. But in xfce terminal, there is a vertical line of stars on the
last column, starting on the row above the real line of stars. Above the
text, there is another star, and there are even stars below the
descriptive text. This does not happen in other terminals like xterm and
kitty, which render it as expected and pass. The screenshot attached is
with the xfce terminal being maximized, but the bug happens even when it
is not.
