This *sounds* more like a font/console config issue than a systemd one,
but not sure yet.
If you use the following /etc/default/console-setup, does the issue
persist?
# /etc/default/console-setup
ACTIVE_CONSOLES="/dev/tty[1-6]"
CHARMAP="UTF-8"
CODESET="guess"
FONTFACE="Fixed"
FONTSIZE="8x16"
VIDEOMODE=
This is what I have on a basic resolute setup, and I am not seeing the
issue.
