Public bug reported:
The touchpad works correctly in Windows but is not detected as an input
device in Ubuntu 24.04.4.
Laptop: Lenovo ThinkBook 14-IML, type 20RV
BIOS: CJCN41WW
ACPI device: ELAN0632:00, status 15
Driver: elan_i2c loads and probes the device, but no touchpad entry appears in
/proc/bus/input/devices.
Tested kernels:
6.8.0-138-generic
7.0.0-30-generic
Reloading elan_i2c did not help. The generic i2c_hid_acpi driver did not
bind.
