We added the following config statements to our automated desktop user-
data and firefox 1:1snap1-0ubuntu9.1 was successfully installed out of
resolute-proposed during deployment.
These configuration keys were added under the autoinstall key in user-
data with the other apt key items.

From our testing the updated firefox 1:1snap1-0ubuntu9.1 package appears
