Expected result: You get a message that no stable LTS version is available. Suggested wording for the Prompt=lts + no new LTS in meta-release-lts case: No new LTS release found. Upgrades to the next LTS are enabled after its first point release. See https://changelogs.ubuntu.com/meta-release-lts Actual result: You get the following confusing message informing about a development version. That is exactly what happened to bug #1890936 (18.04 → 20.04, identical message): it was set to Fix Released when the meta-release file was updated, so the string was never touched — and the same message was reported again for 22.04 → 24.04, and now for 24.04 → 26.04. The trigger disappears once each point release is enabled, which is why this keeps surviving every cycle.
