Public bug reported:
I have a few custom repositories configured for software not available through
official repos.
update-manager asks repeatedly for my sudo password with a warning to let me
update using those repositories.
""The software is not from a trusted source. Do not update the package
unless you are sure it is safe to do so.""
The issue is that the warning does not contain the name of the software
or the name of the repository it is asking confirmation for. This is
making the whole warning useless because the user has a hard time to
validate if a repo in the list would not be legitimate.
My recommendation would be to add the package name and a portion of the
address or full address of the repository the superuser password is
asked for in the warning msgbox. *wishlist*
