@Jeremy, that may be a factually true statement but it is quite unhelpful nonetheless. It would have cost you maybe 30 seconds to make a more helpful statement. It is sad to see how Canonical and the people it pays care about choices and software they shoved down everyone's throat not so many years ago.
@fuseteam, Rahammetoela I see you are still actively maintaining Unity v7. I had a look at the source package but unforunately it uses germinate seeding so it's more involved to get fixed than a simple debdiff. The fix for this problem is nonentheless straight-forward and should really have been published much sooner. Rahammetoela, would you be so kind to update the stonking seeds to relax the dependencies to "pipewire-pulse|pulseaudio" and then hopefully we can get this backported to resolute and noble. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1999480 Title: ubuntu-unity-desktop metapackage requires pulseaudio To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-sound/+bug/1999480/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
