Public bug reported: The machdb can only pick among the device-trees embedded in the image, and nothing embeds the K3 ones: finddtbs.py chooses what goes in and only looks at hwids, where these boards are absent. So none of their device-trees is copied in. finddtbs.py should read the machdb too.
This issue also needs a fix in stubble: https://github.com/ubuntu/stubble/pull/85 The stubble PR should land first. Merging the stubble-kernel MP on its own is harmless but has no effect. ** Affects: stubble-kernel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Sarah Emery (semerys) Status: New ** Changed in: stubble-kernel (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Sarah Emery (semerys) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2166190 Title: SpacemiT K3 device-trees are not embedded in the riscv64 kernel image To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/stubble-kernel/+bug/2166190/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
