1. Mainline v6.8.12 Essential test. If it works, the problem most likely lies in Ubuntu-specific changes in 6.8.0-137. https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/v6.8.12/ 2. Mainline v6.12 Test if 6.8.12 panics. This is the midpoint of the regression range. https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/v6.12/ 3. Mainline v6.14 Contains changes related to multi_cpu_stop()/RCU and nested KVM vCPU destruction. https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/v6.14/ 4. Mainline v6.13 Test if 6.14 works. Comparing 6.13 with 6.14 can show whether the behavior changed during the 6.14 development cycle. https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/v6.13/ 5. Mainline v6.15 Test if 6.14 still panics. It contains additional KVM vCPU/MMU destruction changes. https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/v6.15/ 6. Mainline v6.15.6 Test only if the initial 6.15 release panics. Use it as the version immediately preceding the stopper fix. https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/v6.15.6/ 7. Mainline v6.15.7 Compare with 6.15.6.
