Description of the problem:
After upgrading to kernel 6.8.0-139-generic, the Bluetooth controller is not
recognized/fails to initialize.
Running `bluetoothctl power on` results in "No default controller available".
Dmesg/journalctl reports btmtk/btusb sync/event timeout errors during
initialization.
Hardware:
- Model: ASUS ExpertBook B5602CBA
- Bluetooth chip: MediaTek (btmtk / btusb)
- OS: Linux Mint 22 (Ubuntu 24.04 noble base)
Regression confirmed:
- Kernel 6.8.0-138-generic: Works perfectly.
- Kernel 6.8.0-139-generic: Bluetooth fails completely.
Rolling back to 6.8.0-138 immediately restores full Bluetooth functionality.
Hard power cycle (60s power button press while unplugged) did not resolve the
issue on .139.
