Very similar problem, with the exception that instead of getting the WEP
decrypt error, (using WPA2) when the connection goes dead, (also with
the applet showing excellent signal) in dmesg, I seem to get an endless
stream of wlan0 CTS protection enabled / disabled's, (upon occasion,
also see something about wlan0 being deauthorized, reason=3 or
reason=7).  Used to see IPv6 fails, as well, but disabled IPv6 to see if
that helped, (thought it did, but then it continued).  And, upon
occasion, also see something about switching to Short [something]
Preamble, (router set to Long).
