Hello,
Opensysusers has a Conflicts: systemd-sysusers field. systemd does
provide systemd-sysusers, and therefore opensysusers conflicts with
systemd.
As there is no real support for another init than systemd, this
effectively make opensysusers uninstallable, except in setups without an
init (in which case, it would still need to be started by hand to serve
its purpose).
Opensysusers' sole purpose is to provide an alternative to systemd
sysusers management.
Considering all these facts, I think this package should be removed from
Ubuntu.
