Please let's not remove the package, since it supports engines AND providers. The package can be changed to build providers only (with packaging meta data changes only). I have modified the package accordingly and triggered a test build here: https://launchpad.net/~fheimes/+archive/ubuntu/lp2166513 Once the build is successful and complete, I am going to test it and will eventually upload the modified version.
