This supplemental report documents a new spontaneous failure with native PCIe hot-plug enabled. The capture shows a real Thunderbolt/PCIe Link Down, followed by successful link reconnection but failed PCI resource allocation because the AQC113 appeared after the bridge windows had already been assigned. Its BARs remained unassigned and the Atlantic driver could not probe. Removing the complete JHL7440 PCI subtree and rescanning the empty parent bus reassigned the bridge resources and restored 10GbE without rebooting for the second time.
