Confirming on a second Dell 16 Plus DB16250 (SKU 0D31), still broken on
7.0.0-30-genericSame machine as the original report: Dell 16 Plus
DB16250, Intel Core Ultra 7 258V (Lunar Lake), audio PCI 8086:a828
subsystem 1028:0d31, driver sof-audio-pci-intel-lnl.This is a second
unit. Original reporter tested 7.0.0-1009-oem and 7.0.0-28-generic. This
one is still broken on Ubuntu 26.04.1, kernel 7.0.0-30-generic, PipeWire
1.6.2, linux-firmware 20260319.git217ca6e4.Symptoms match: internal
speakers squeal/buzz during playback; headphone jack works; HDMI devices

in use; snd-soc-rt1320-sdw is not loaded. As of 2026-09-14, mainline
sound/soc/intel/common/soc-acpi-intel-lnl-match.c still only has
lnl_rt722_only -> sof-lnl-rt722-l0.tplg. There is still no LNL machine
entry for RT722 (link 0) + RT1320 (links 2/3). That combination exists
for ARL (sof-arl-rt722-l0_rt1320-l2.tplg) and PTL (sof-ptl-
rt722-l0-rt1320-l23.tplg, LP: #2150196). The PTL SRU does not help this
LNL Dell. Please also affect linux (resolute) and firmware-sof-signed,
not only linux-signed-oem-7.0. This is a missing LNL ACPI match +
missing SOF topology, not an OEM-kernel-only issue.Happy to attach sudo
dmesg | grep -iE 'sof|soundwire|rt722|rt1320' and ls
/sys/bus/soundwire/devices if needed.
