[Impact]
The ACPI idle driver lacks OS-initiated coordination of hierarchical Low Power 
Idle (LPI) states. Its existing platform-coordinated model does not provide OS 
coordination of shared power-domain states beyond individual CPU C-states.

[Fix]
Backport the cpuidle, ACPI and generic power-domain prerequisites and add 
hierarchical LPI support to the ACPI idle driver. Extract and compose the 
firmware-described state hierarchy, link the CPU and shared power domains, and 
coordinate their idle-state entry through the OS-initiated model.

[Where problems could occur]
The changes affect ACPI idle-state discovery, shared power-domain coordination 
and wake-latency constraints. Regressions could affect idle entry and exit, 
suspend-to-idle, or CPU hotplug on systems using the affected frameworks.
