Hi Benjamin,

This is a fresh Ubuntu 24.04 installation on this Dell Pro 14 Plus
PB14250, so unfortunately I cannot confirm whether the camera worked on
any previous Ubuntu release or kernel version.

What I can confirm is that the IPU6 driver detects the camera sensor
correctly:

▪ Found supported sensor OVTI05C1:00
▪ Connected 1 cameras

The ov05c10 kernel module is loaded and the media topology is created
successfully (/dev/media0 and multiple /dev/video* nodes are present).

However, no application is able to start a video stream. libcamera
reports no available cameras, and attempts to start capture fail with:

VIDIOC_STREAMON returned -1 (Link has been severed)

The kernel log also contains:

int3472-discrete INT3472:0c:
GPIO type 0x02 unknown; the sensor may not work

I have reproduced the issue with Cheese, qv4l2 and v4l2-ctl.

If useful, I can also test a different kernel version (for example the
generic 6.8 kernel) and report back the results.

Best regards,
Charly
