The main features include moving of MariaDB's runtime directory from /run/mysqld to /run/mariadbd as a step towards co-installability with mysql-server (LP: #2167479), and improving cross-compilation. The cross- compilation changes include marking libnet-ssleay-perl and default-jdk as native, and allowing mariadb-migrate-config-file/generate_option_list to be created when cross-compilation is enabled.
