Life has been good with my Zenbook 3407QA until now!
I have unfortunately just upgraded my Ubuntu 26.04.1. While this upgrade
to use the 7.0.0-30 kernel initially worked since July but the latest
upgrade to 7.0.0-31 has broken my access to wifi in both the 7.0.0-31
and 7.0.0-30 kernels. Not only that, somehow now systemd-udevd and
udevadm do not recognize the qcom wifi or select the drivers from
ath11k. Some of my USB wifi devices also fail now, but didn't before
this update.
dmesg no longer shows a failure to access a wifi driver.
I suspect that the /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/ have changed, but I haven't
been able to locate the problem.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Advice to any ASUS 3407QA or 3407RA users is to avoid upgrading Ubuntu
26.04.1!!!!!
