On my new Thinkpad x9-15p with a panther lake chip (X7 358H) and a fresh install of Kubuntu 26.04.1 up to date, I have a lot of graphical artefacts and stutters, randomly, beginning right after having logged in my session, with a crash. Upstream report : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=526118 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1- Log in my session OBSERVED RESULT The taskbar is flashing with multi-colors, the applications (Dolphin, Firefox, Konsole...) stutters, the scrolling in applications is erratic. Video : https://kdrive.infomaniak.com/app/share/985396/b8e479b5-aed7-4682-807c-64d0719d3081 Then I can have : 1) a black screen during a few seconds, then plasma recovers with an error message saying that kwin has crashed (I send the report with DrKonqi), 2) or I just have an application like Firefox that crash. AFTER this crash (1 or 2), the situation is less colorful, by that I mean I don't encounter any other crash during my session, it seems, for the moment... EXPECTED RESULT - No crash and no graphical problems. MITIGATIONS ATTEMPT : - Update Mesa with kisak fresh ppa : same problem. - Update intel packages with ppa:kobuk-team/intel-graphics : same problem. TO KNOW : It seems that this behavior began after 26.04.1 was published, with updates installed after the iso publication. I have NOT this problem on Fedora KDE 44 up to date, with Plasma 6.7.5, kernel 7.2.6, mesa-26.2.3-1.
