apt evolution 3.52.3 (latest for LTS system) fails with the attached
screenshots in Calendar. Mail works fine.
flatpak evolution 3.60.2 (on same LTS system) works with Calendar and
Mail.
Because this works in 3.60.2, my assumption is that this will be pretty
easy to backport to 3.52 in order to fully support LTS platforms. For
now I've uninstalled the apt package to minimize system conflicts with
my flatpak installation workaround.
This setup is using the "Microsoft 365" connector to exchange 365. The
exchange-ews connector recently failed entirely (but that is unrelated,
due to scream tests where MS shut down my ews access in prep for the
overall wholesale EWS shutdown in 2 weeks). IMAP/SMTP doesn't handle
calendar at all, so the ms365 connector is my only option.
I had tried to submit this initially to gnome directly but they bounced
me to the distribution maintainers.
