Public bug reported: With the release of mariadb 1:11.8.9+ds-4 and 1:11.8.9+ds-3, the mariadb-server runtime directory has been moved from /run/mysqld to /run/mariadbd, but a symlink has been added from /run/mysqld to /run/mariadbd in mariadb-server-compat. Packages that depend on or recommend mariadb-server directly, but check /run/mysqld for the socket should either move to mariadb-server-compat or check /run/mariadbd.
