Thanks for the bug report.
Please try copying your monitor configuration from your personal account
to the login screen:
sudo cp ~/.config/monitors.xml ~gdm/.config/
and then reboot.
If that doesn't fix it then I would also try DELETING the monitor
configuration files:
rm ~/.config/monitors.xml
sudo rm ~gdm/.config/monitors.xml
and rebooting again.
If that still doesn't fix it and if you are unable to install Ubuntu
26.04 instead (where this logic has been rewritten for Wayland), then I
would recommend not using the HDMI port that is probably wired to the
Nvidia GPU. Instead use a USB-C to HDMI cable so hopefully then both
monitors are being driven by the Intel GPU and you'll get a better
experience using the 'Ubuntu on Wayland' login option.
