Same issue here on a Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 (Snapdragon X Elite X1E78100, Adreno X1-85, OLED eDP 2880x1800@120Hz), Ubuntu 26.04 arm64, kernel 7.2.0-18-qcom-x1e, Mesa 26.0.8, GNOME 50 on Wayland.
Symptoms: - After the display wakes up, whether it blanked for inactivity (even for about 1 second) or after closing the lid, the **right half of the panel stays completely black**. Closing and reopening the lid brings it back. - Rendering artifacts across the desktop, most visible in Chromium and during video playback. The kernel log shows no drm/dpu/GPU errors while the right half is black. Night Light is off, but a colour profile (EDID-derived ICC) is assigned to the internal panel. This looks like the upstream linux-arm-msm report "[BUG] qcom: x1: GAMMA_LUT corruption on DPMS wake": on panels wider than 2560 px, the second-half DSPP is not reprogrammed after MDSS resume, and rewriting the LUT (e.g. moving the Night Light slider) restores it: https://ratatoskr.run/linux-arm-msm/2026/06/17070498/t Happy to test patches. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2150591 Title: Display issues on Snapdragon X Elite To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2150591/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
