[ Impact ]
* Since GNOME 50, when the Ubuntu Dock enters app spread mode (clicking
the dock icon of an app with multiple windows), clicking the
Activities button does not close the spread: the shell's new click
gesture on the button swallows the click and the spread stays open.
[ Test Plan ]
* Open multiple windows of the same app.
* Click its dock icon to enter the spread mode.
* Click the top-left (or top-right in RTL systems) Activities button:
the spread should close, going back to the windows.
* Also verify that outside spread mode the Activities button and the
hot corner (if enabled) keep toggling the overview as usual, and that the
spread
can still be left with the other means (selecting a window, Escape).
[ Where problems could occur ]
* The change re-wires the Activities button handlers while a spread is
active: a mistake there could make the button or the hot corner stop
toggling the overview, or leave the gesture disabled after leaving
the spread (button unresponsive until the shell is restarted).
* The handling is only active during app spread, so the normal dock
and overview behaviour is otherwise unchanged.
[ Other Info ]
* The fix is upstream in the ubuntu-dock branch (commit 03ff9859) and
is already included in stonking via gnome-shell-ubuntu-extensions
51.26.10.3ubuntu (dock bump to ubuntu-dock-109ubuntu1); this SRU
backports it to resolute.
