The fix is now in mainline: d58384c22739 ("PCI: Fix BAR resize for
devices on a root bus"), merged into torvalds/linux master on 2026-09-26
via the pci-v7.3-fixes-2 pull (fddfc3ec3179), after v7.3-rc4, so it will
be in v7.3-rc5. The cherry-pick request above for linux (resolute) and
