Hi, I'm seeing the same regression, adding my configuration for reference.
Hardware GPU: AMD Navi 48 [Radeon RX 9070 XT], Gigabyte Gaming OC CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D Motherboard: ASUS TUF B650-PLUS WIFI RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30, EXPO enabled PSU: 850W 80+ Gold Software Distribution: Kubuntu 26.04 (Windows/Ubuntu dual-boot) Last known good kernel: 7.0.0-27-generic — poweroff/reboot works reliably Failing kernels tested: 7.0.0-28, 7.0.0-29, 7.0.0-30, 7.0.0-31-generic — all hang Not yet tested: 7.0.0-32 and later Displays 2 monitors connected and active Result Consistent hang on poweroff/reboot across 7.0.0-28 through 7.0.0-31: displays go dark, fans keep spinning at full speed, and the only way out is a long press on the power button. 7.0.0-27 shuts down cleanly every time. This confirms the regression window is at least 7.0.0-27 → 7.0.0-31, and hopefully helps narrow down where it was introduced. I'll test 7.0.0-34 (current HWE build) and report back whether it's fixed. Thanks for the work on this, let me know if there's anything else I can provide (logs, specific kernel tests, etc.).
