Public bug reported:

On a dual-boot MS Windows/Linus system.

I mounted the Windows partition (using Dolphin).

Then, in an ssh session from another system as root I:
o cd'ed to my account's (Windows) Downloads folder on my Windows partition.
o ran mv ~myaccount/code .

The transfer started, then hung. (kern.log shows kernel BUG at
fs/iomap/buffered-io.c:10611)

In another window I could cd to the target directory and see that some
files has been transferred.

This root mv process was:
o uninterruptable
o un-killable by another root process

and on reboot it prevented the system shutting down. Had to power off
manually.
