If "Blacks appear raised and overall contrast is reduced" then it sounds
like the AMD card is outputting limited range RGB (used in broadcasting)
and the monitor is expecting full range. If you can change the monitor
setting to limited range RGB then that may fix it.
Please run:
sudo apt install drm-info
drm_info > drminfo.txt
and attach the resulting text file here.
