No, the stacktrace printed to my screen related is something along the lines of :
... acpi_ac_init acpi_bus_register_driver ... BUG: soft lockup detected on CPU#0 ... acpi_button_init acpi_bus_register_driver It's more related to #62932 (Edgy kernel oops during bootup on toshiba laptop), but it's not the same stack either. But it also occured after the update to the -9 kernel. I can't attach my stacktrace because I don't find it in anything under /var/log, even after forcing to sync to disk. Can somebody point me to how to get a useful trace? Thanks. -- [regression]: Toshiba ACPI driver corrupted since 2.6.17-8 https://launchpad.net/bugs/62382 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
