Public bug reported:
when trying to run zsnes or amarok's libvisual visualizations with the
environmental value SDL_VIDEODRIVER=aalib or SDL_VIDEODRIVER=caca it claims to
have no available video device.
zsnes: "Could not set 512x448 video mode: No available video device"
amarok doesn't give any output. but it's clearly not working
this is done from gnome terminal from inside gnome. so even if it is
calling a window to be put inside of X then it's already got the xserver
there to dump it in.
